Allison Chung
Allison Chung, Pharm.D., FCCP, BCPPS, BCPS is an Associate Professor in Pharmacy Practice and specializes in Pediatrics. She is also a Board Certified Pediatrics and Pharmacotherapy Specialist and Pharmacogenomics Certified.
Dr. Chung was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and completed a B.S. in Biochemistry at University of California-San Diego (1992). After completing her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (1999), she then completed a PGY1 residency at University of Maryland Medical Center (2000). Prior to her academic appointment, Dr. Chung completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Pharmacology/Toxicology at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio under the direction of Michael Reed, Pharm.D. and Jeffrey Blumer, MD.
Dr. Chung is currently an Associate Professor for Pharmacy Practice with Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy with a practice site in the PICU at the University of South Alabama, Women's and Children's Hospital in Mobile, Alabama where she also holds an adjunct academic appointment with the University of South Alabama, school of medicine.
Joseph LaRochelle
Dr. LaRochelle received his Bachelors of Arts degree in Biology from Saint Anselm College and his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy.
He completed a one year Pharmacy Practice Residency at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington DC and a Pediatric Specialty Residency at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy and the University of Maryland Medical System Hospital for Children.
He is currently Vice Chair and Clinical Professor at Xavier University of Louisiana College of Pharmacy and a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. He practices as a specialist in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Children’s Hospital of New Orleans.
He is an active member in pharmacy organizations, is a board certified pediatric pharmacy specialist, and a fellow of ACCP. Most importantly, he will be winning this debate with Dr. Chung.
